This rebranding refreshes Cinemateca’s identity while preserving its history and love for cinema. Inspired by film reels and editing marks, the custom type and logo evoke rhythm and motion.

 

Halftone textures, B&W photography, and bold duotones blend nostalgia with a contemporary feel, making the system playful, recognizable, and engaging, especially for younger audiences.

The custom type was inspired by film reels, editing marks, and modular structures, and the logo plays with rhythm and direction, almost like film in motion.

 

The visuals mix halftone textures, black & white photography, and bold duotones, bringing together nostalgia and a fresh, contemporary feel. From posters to merch to social media, the system makes Cinemateca more playful, recognizable, and engaging, especially for younger audiences.
